- For much of the past decade rugby league in Australia has been dogged by a series of startling allegations relating to alcohol, women and sex. After every incident the National Rugby League has told the public it's moving to clean up the game.
- Dog Moran comes up with a plan to overthrow Al Catone's control of the docks: inform the Untouchables that the freighter "Caprice de Dieux" is heading for Cheesecago carrying a big shipment of contraband cheese for Catone. Elliot Mouse and his companions gain access to the port to confiscate the goods as soon as the boat is unloaded. An unexpected longshoremen's strike, however, frustrated Dog Moran's plans and the cheat of a gangster has to hire some henchmen at his pool hall to unload the cargo. The longshoremen, led by their spokesperson, Terry Misz, keep Moran's hoodlums from carrying out their intentions. When he finds out what has happened, Catone decides to bring the strike to an end by supporting the workers. Catone has the idea of controlling the docks through the longshoremen. He therefore summons Terry to a meeting at the Mewington Hotel. The Untouchables, who have remained with the longshoremen all this time, send Jack to follow and protect Terry. The brave spokesperson for the longshoremen refuses to accept Catone's conditions and is lead by Rat Nitti to an abandoned mine to be knocked off. Jack is discovered and apprehended along the way. He and Terry are left to their fate inside a coal wagon that is pushed off and sent rolling down to the mine's depths. Jack and Terry must devise ways to free themselves from the trap they're in and make their way back to the docks to warn the other workers of Catone's intentions ...
